Why is Rosemary good for me?

Rosemary has tonic properties. It stimulates blood circulation as well as the digestive system. It is calming and helps enhance mental activity. Rosemary also helps release tired and aching muscles.

Origin & Quality

We source Rosemary leaves from the Provence region in France.

Treatments where we use Rosemary

We use Rosemary for its stimulating properties in the Cellulite and Oily Hair remedies. We recommend Rosemary as a tea to cleanse the blood and clear the mind when you are feeling confused.

Natural Remedies where we use Rosemary

Rosemary is used in the preparation of Wild Thyme Herbal Bath to stimulate blood flow and improve the functioning of the kidneys to help clear the mind. It is a blend of natural salts, oils and plants including Wild Thyme and Rosemary. It is part of the Cellulite Remedy.

It is also used in the preparation of Rosemary Clay Mask nourishes the hair and treats the scalp to regulate sebum production. It is made with Moroccan Rhassoul clay and Rosemary and Thyme and is part of the Oily Hair Remedy.

How do I use Rosemary?

The dried Rosemary leaves come loose in a re-sealable bag.

To prepare an infusion, measure one pinch of Rosemary for each cup and add it to a tea pot or cup. Pour boiling water on top. Place a lid on top of the pot to trap the steam. It contains the beneficial oils released by the plant. Let the Rosemary infuse for 5-10 minutes before drinking.

You can also add Rosemary to a bath. Just add a handful to a hot bath.

Rosemary can also be used for cooking to flavor dishes.

To dispose of the Rosemary after the tea or bath you can put them into a flower pot or add them to soil or a compost heap. It is good to give something back to nature. It's a way of being thankful for its healing gift. It also gives added nutrients to your plants.

How long should I use Rosemary?

  • We recommend that you take up to 3 cups a day of Rosemary tea.

  • You should not exceed the recommended doses. Higher doses can be counter-productive.

Contra-Indications

Rosemary is not recommended if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy.
